Community festival brings colorful balloons, family fun, and local business support September 19–21, 2025

Murray, Utah : September 3, 2025 — The sky above Murray will come alive this fall as the Utah Hot Air Balloon Palooza makes its highly anticipated debut on September 19–21, 2025 at Cottonwood High School. Hosted by the Murray Chamber Foundation, the three-day festival promises breathtaking hot air balloon launches, tethered rides, live entertainment, local food, a rare glimpse of launching hot air balloons, and a strong celebration of community spirit.

Spectators will enjoy ten unique hot air balloons taking to the skies each morning, piloted by FAA licensed hot air balloon pilots from across the region. Families can experience the thrill up close with tethered balloon rides, providing a safe and unforgettable way to see Murray from new heights.

The Palooza will also feature more than 60 local vendors, food trucks, and businesses showcasing the best of Utah. Guests will also be able to browse an online silent auction, benefiting the Utah Hot Air Balloon Palooza and the Murray Area Chamber Foundation. The Foundation directly serves Murray families, local students, food security initiatives, and workforce development programs that empower the next generation of commerce in the city.
